Mariners' Sim Has Score To Settle With Jets

MATT Sim has something to prove when the Central Coast Mariners host rivals the Newcastle Jets in their A-League season-opener on Saturday. The 26-year-old spent a year playing for the Jets youth team, but left in 2010 when he wasn’t offered a new contract.

It was Mariners coach Phil Moss who snapped him up in January this year and the left-sided midfielder has already put in some strong performances during the preseason.
